Valentina Isleib LMFT CCIT
Valentina Isleib is a licensed marriage and family therapist and graduate from Drexel University’s Couples and Family Therapy master’s program. She is mentored by internationally renowned therapist and writer Dr. Harry Aponte, MSW, LCSW, LMFT in the Person of the Therapist Model that teaches therapists around the world to use their own lives and their personal and professional experiences to better understand their clients. During her training at Drexel University Valentina completed an internship at Friends Psychiatric Hospital in Philadelphia where she provided individual and family therapy to adolescents and their families in the acute center. Additionally, Valentina interned at Keystone Center in Chester PA where she gained experience working with clients struggling with addictions and relationship issues. Valentina conducted individual, couples, group and family therapy to address addiction from a systemic perspective. Since then, Valentina Isleib has worked in private practice meeting with a wide variety of clients who have come to therapy to obtain assistance with anxiety, depression, ADHD, family discord, parenting/co-parenting, OCD and trauma, among other reasons. Valentina is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Systemic Family Therapy; Structural Family therapy; Emotionally Focused Therapy; Bowen Theory; Solution-Focused Therapy; among other modalities.
Valentina Isleib holds an advanced study certificate in Complementary and Integrative Therapies from Drexel University. The program provides a foundation of knowledge in complementary and integrative therapies including women’s integrative health, clinical aromatherapy, mind-body therapies, spirituality and bio-energy therapies. Valentina is currently completing a Master’s in Divinity at the Center For Religion And Advanced Spiritual Studies. Valentina received Ministerial Ordination and has functioned in that capacity since 2010 providing individuals with Resources such as Meditations.
Valentina Isleib founded The Isleib Center alongside husband, Dr. Andrew Isleib, an osteopathic physician, who shares the same views about the importance of the Mind-Body-Spirit Model in patient care and wellness. The Isleib Center integrates interventions that support individuals and families seeing their health from a holistic perspective whether they are coming to The Isleib Center for issues with physical or mental health.
